Scent Me Back

You always love yourself for smelling good, I mean who doesn’t? We all have this favorite scent or signature scent that we always look for in a perfume store. I love vanilla scented perfumes. Scent is something personal, it is something attached to you. More often than not, scent makes someone think about someone. I love when my friends remember me if they smell something vanilla-ish. I love remembering people through their scent, I sometimes get nostalgic when I smell something that travels me back to the past, indeed scent is the cheapest way to travel back. I guess after all, scent is a very random way of remembering something or someone wayback and sometimes scent makes us miss a thing behind one’s present life.

Coffee At The Bay (jk)

It was long ago when I used to spend my rest days or at least some of my time in a coffee shop especially the newly brewed ones. And after how many months I was so glad I finally did again the weekend before last weekend. Finally had the chance to sit and chill at Coffee Bay in SM Seaside while waiting to have our funshoot. It is always a best idea to waste your time in a good place like coffee shops with of course a strong and stable Wi-Fi (who wants a crappy Wi-Fi connection by the way hehe) especially if you are dying with boredom, want to get away with the four corners of your room, want to read your fave book with a good cup of coffee/frappe/smoothie or even when you are just simply waiting for someone. I think it is practical too- good place + nice ambiance + AC + Wi-Fi all you need is just to buy yourself a drink that usually costs around P140-195 and you can spend almost most of your time there rather than spending it shopping that would deffo cost you a lot of bux.

I ordered Java Chip and Oreo- Mine's Java Chip and Jabi had Oreo. Guys, if you are uncertain on what to have when it comes to Frappe go for Java Chip or Oreo (in any coffee shops), they will never disappoint you. ☺

Any plans of sipping some caffeine- a good coffee or a frappe this weekend? ;)

Hazy

I know I've been complaining about how hot the weather was the past few days even up to now and yup I was scammed by the rainfalls we had by the beginning of June because clearly summer did not bid its goodbye yet. But despite the sunny weather that we (still) have, that doesn't stop me from wearing my favorite and comfy pieces- loose pullover and leggings especially when I'm about to do a funshoot. You just don't like posing in front of the camera wearing some uneasy clothes, do you? But at some point I guess I was uneasy and awkward back there especially when I was running out of pose to do ~wew~ but good heavens! The person behind these amazing and cool shots helped me out- Johannah Joy Batiancila Archuleta of Iris Motion & Stills.
I love how this shoot ended as I imagined. I am more of a "que sera sera" kind of person and I want that to be reflected on the shots and yes it did. I love how Joy and I were thinking of my next pose and ended up just laughing it all out and just whatever do it!  Haha.
To the person who did a very job well done on my make-up, Nikkho Pearson thank you so much!! I love how my make-up looked so natural and not heavy, which by the way helped a lot in achieving an au naturale peg for this shoot hehehe. :)

Gelatint

If there's one brand that made me love lip and cheek tint it's Gelantints by Organics.byh! You just couldn't go wrong with Gelatints, they are of good quality, consistency and smell (also taste haha yes! I accidentally tasted them). A little Gelatint rubbed on your cheeks and lips goes a really long way unlike other tints. And a plus is they have a lot of color variations so you can really choose what shade suits you.Left to Right: Firedrop, Candy, Paris
In my case, I personally love using the shade Candy for my cheeks for my everyday fresh look, shade Firedrop for my lips 'coz it really blends well on my lips that it looks like I did not put any lip tint at all, and most esp shade Paris for my tanned cheeks last summer. I love how this shade really blended well on my tanned cheeks that it looked so natural. Again girls, a little rub of Gelantint goes a long way. So if you don't like to look like a clown or something make sure to apply a little.
A discovery tho, I think this Gelatints by organics.byh are waterproof. Because every time I use it and need to remove it, I have to wash my face with facial wash/soap to do it because pure water can't do the work. That's a plus to everyone 'coz you don't have to worry when rain streams down your face especially that wet season has finally set in because you got your cheeks a waterproof Gelatint. 😉

Bidding Its Goodbye

You're here reading this because I just got you by my title, didn't I? Hahaha. Guess who/what is about to leave us or shall I say already left us? With all the drizzle every morning, (heavy) rain every night and this cuddle weather that makes us want to stay and enjoy the comfort of our beds- yes summer already did bid its goodbye to us. This post has been stuck in my draft since the day after the gang went to Bantayan and every time I go back to this all I did was stare at it for how many minutes trying to fight the writers block, but no I just couldn't and finally allowed myself to gave in to it. BUT I am back and I'm working all my shiz now together with this post as my summer starter and ender.
Summer leaving is a bittersweet thing for me coz God knows how much I love being in the beach enjoying Mr. Sun flaunting what he got, chilling under the palm trees and let's not forget the tan lines that makes you sexier *wink* hahaha. BUT. Summer being hot extra hot was no help for my sleep at all. My boarding house doesn't have AC so yes the struggle was real. So I am also happy that the extra hot weather has crawled out from here.
