Barely Nude

I am not going to talk as if I'm a lippie guru or what haha but I am going to talk how I came up buying this and my thoughts about this lippie.

I've been seeing ladies wearing different shades of lipstick and it really really looks gorgeous. From then on I found myself always stunned with nude lippie color, but I never bought one until last week. I am never fond of lipstick so I never succumbed to any brands no matter how pretty that shade of nude is, but this lippie is an exception. Why? 1st, because it's on sale. Hahahahaha. It's only P150 ($2.99) and it's from a trusted brand- Maybelline. You're not just really gonna invest on something you're not fond of so don't judge please. Hahaha. 2nd, I like how nude this lippie is. :)

I love how creamy it feels on my lips but gives you that matte effect. Plus it did not make my lips dry. And I can wear it anywhere and in any sort of occasion. I think this is what nude lippie is for- you're all around lipstick. ☺

There's always a first on everything. ☺ Tho, this is not the first time I used a lipstick but this is the first time I apply it on my own, and so far so good. ☺

Friday Feels

The title on this post says it all. I love Fridays not because of the party that's waiting after my shift (well I don't even party.. not anymore. lol) but because of the fact that it's weekend the next day and, nothing beats the weekend vibes. Friday is the turning point from stressful me to stress free me, from lack of sleep to too much sleep, from pressure to chill and from fast-paced life to slow-paced life. Indeed Friday and most especially the weekend makes a whole lot of difference from the other days of the week. So yes nuff with that. I'll leave you with these (annoying) photos then. ☺

Anyone here who does not wait for Friday? Don't lie. Hehe! Y'all have a very nice weekend. ☺

Loosen Up Like My Top

Have you ever thought of window shopping and ended up otherwise? Lol. Last Saturday my boyfriend planned to buy a black jeans and I decided to accompany him since it was a boring Saturday guys, plus common! We always want to accompany our boyfriend to the mall ‘coz we love doing judgment on them about how do they look like and stuff like that. As he was strolling around Bershka, instead of following him in the men section, I headed to the women section. I promise! I do not have any plans of buying since I am saving but, a big BUT, crop tops and sweaters are on red tags. :|  And crop tops and sweaters are my faves. To make the long story short, I bought a sweater and a loose cropped top. Hahaha! Well, girls will always be girls. :p
I always love loose tops- loose t-shirts, loose sleeveless and of course loose cropped tops. Loose cropped tops always give you that simple yet classy and that laid-back kind of look, it brings back 80’s/90's fashion despite the fast fashion that we are having now. Plus, cropped tops can be worn on any pair of jeans, shorts or skirts. Truth be told, I’m the kind of woman who prefers to dress like as if I still live from the 80’s or 90’s. Hehe. 
Do you believe that the way you dress mirrors you? There’s a lot of practical reason why I love wearing loose tops but on the other note, I think my love for loose tops somehow represents me. Me being the “come what may” and the “I don’t give a damn” kind of person. I think being able to loosen up on some things makes me more secured on myself and makes me more independent. 
You know what, it feels good. It feels good not choking yourself to anything. If you’re being hard to yourself lately, you might wanna loosen up a bit. What you think? :)

Be Yourself, Forget The Rest

I know I am not the only one who is struggling on getting a name on their blogging career but I realized there is no easy way up. Everyone has to start somewhere. So there is no rule, no “the perfect way to be successful” but just to be yourself and forget the rest. We don’t have to be like others just because they are good at something we want. We don’t have to do whatever they do just because they are getting attention from it. We are an art of our own, they are an art of their own and no one in this world (even the twins) are made to be the same, they might be alike but never the same. Because in this world we are unique in our own little or big ways. We have something that others don’t have. We always have an edge to something or from someone.
To those who are being so tight to their selves- Hey! Loosen up! I was once in your shoes, but then reality hit me. Dwelling on something like that wont help, instead do something to get you out of the situation. Be you. Give yourself a chance, give yourself the art that you deserve. Because in this world (sometimes) it is best to not blend in, stand out instead.

I Can & I Will

I am not going to say I have my dream job right now, I am not gonna lie either that I almost stopped chasing my passion, because at some point of my life I had to go the other way around. As I grow older each day those “life realities” my mum or dad or professor told me before are making sense. When they said “Chasing your dreams is not easy but it will be worth it” I did not sort of believe them because I am too positive on how easy peasy to chase my dreams knowing what I am capable of to get it, without considering the challenges in life I may encounter along the way. I was so naïve back then.

Now I learned that your needs are so much important than your wants. And man, it takes so muuuch courage to discipline yourself from saying no to your wants (at least for the meantime) and prioritize your needs. Adulting it is. But nonetheless, it’s never too late to make little steps in going back on pursuing your dreams, who knows it may lead you to somewhere better than you expected. Indeed, chasing your dreams is pretty hard, but I know it will be worth it, because I can and I will. :)

And btw, cheers to waking up early and getting the advantage to take pictures in an almost empty parking lot. :)

I started using this product last week. I started with one application daily then will gradually increase to two or three times daily soon. It is advisable to follow that kind of application process as excessive drying of the skin may occur. But if dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
